NAPA Design Solutions is a team of experts who develop ship design software used by the world's largest shipyards. Our team focuses on creating software consultancy projects that solve potential customers' problems by utilizing NAPA's existing expertise and technology.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Consultant to join our team in Helsinki, Finland. You will work collaboratively and flexibly with team members from different departments, including project managers, data scientists, naval architects, software engineers, and UX designers. Our software development teams are in Finland and Romania.

As a team member, you will participate in software consultancy business growth & development, and process development. This job is full-time and permanent, and you can work at our office, in hybrid mode, or remotely (in Finland).

Description of the perfect match for this role:

• You have a strong background working as a software developer.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in the software consultancy business.

• You are enthusiastic to learn new things and capable of working on a multitude of technologies.

• You are able to communicate and give presentations in English

It would be a bonus if you also had:

• Capability to apply mathematical skills in real-world problem solving

• Familiar with modern web technologies and .NET

• Ability to work with a large multi-language code base

• Familiarity with database solutions

• A degree in Computer Science or another relevant field of studies

• Previous experience with software produced for simulations
