Sales Manager, Greece
NAPA Shipping Solutions, a leader in digitalization and optimization for the maritime industry, is seeking a dedicated and driven Sales Manager to join our team in Greece. In this role you’ll be responsible for sales for current and new customers. As a sales manager you’ll be in a crucial role to support NAPA Shipping Solutions business to the next level. With a strong focus on delivering tangible savings and reducing emissions, we pride ourselves on being trusted partners for our clients.
The role and your NAPA family
NAPA Shipping Solutions business entity develops and delivers solutions for performance monitoring and voyage optimization of ocean-going merchant vessels. You’ll be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, setting up and executing sales plans and supporting our company in staying competitive and innovative.
In this role, you would mostly work remotely in Greece (Athens metropolitan area). The employment agreement will be signed by ClassNK, the parent company of NAPA. You will have colleagues and customers from many countries, so this role is truly global with a meaningful purpose. Safety, fuel economy, and eco-efficiency are core challenges for today’s ship owners, operators, and charterers. Key responsibilities
- Work as an account manager for dedicated customers
- New customer acquisition
- Meet personal sales targets as established within the identified market
- Generate sales budgets and execute them to achieve the sales targets of the region
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts and lead contract negotiations
- Conduct public presentations and keynote speaking in conferences and events
- Participate in new marketing initiatives
- Plan and execute the promotion and sales activities in a specified region
- Plan and execute account plans
- Cooperate and provide feedback to product management, product development, and services operations
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification in a field related to the Maritime industry
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS sales in maritime field
- Target driven and proactive way of working
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
