Sales Manager
NAPA Shipping Solutions, is a leader in digitalization and optimization for the maritime industry. We are now looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us achieve ambitious customer and revenue growth targets. In this role, you’ll drive sales by creating and executing plans that maximize potential, while strengthening customer relationships and satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our experienced sales team and cooperate with our services team to deliver best customer experience possible.
This role is full-time and permanent. Your home base is in Singapore, where you can work flexibly at the office or in a hybrid mode. This role is truly global, since your colleagues and customers will be across multiple countries. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to travel regularly, mostly to Asia and Europe to visit our customers and other NAPA offices.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Meet the personal sales targets in Singapore and Southeast Asia
- Lead sales negotiations and prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts
- Create and execute regional sales budgets and account plans
- Drive promotion and sales activities in the assigned region
- Represent NAPA at conferences and events through presentations and keynote speaking
- Support new product launches and marketing initiatives
- Provide feedback to product management, development and service teams
The salesperson we are looking for
You are a Sales Manager with a passion for selling and learning new skills, and you are interested in joining an international sales team. Performance monitoring, weather routing, and digital twin are some of the buzzwords that excite you! It would be the perfect addition to your professional background if you had prior experience and knowledge in digital vessel optimization technologies.
We hope you meet most of these requirements to succeed in this role:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management
- Domain (maritime) experience
- Experience and proven track record of sales within the maritime sector, preferably in digital and green technologies
- Prior experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Self-motivated and results-oriented team player
- Hold a relevant education, such as B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or Economics.
- Experience in sales of decarbonization solutions, including weather routing and energy efficiency monitoring services
- Singaporean citizenship or PR preferred
